What is Micro-Art?
Micro-Art is a break though semi-permanent mineral makeup for the Brows, Lashes & Lips.
The results are so natural that even men wear it. The procedure takes an hour and lasts up
to 3 years with no downtime.

Does Micro-Art hurt?
Micro-Art uses a single acupuncture needle that gently vibrates on the outer dermal layers
of the skin, therefore discomfort is minimal and there is no down time. For more sensitive
clients we can use a topical numbing cream.

What are the differences between Micro-Art and permanent makeup?
Micro-Art is extremely precise, creating remarkable natural results. Colors are customized
for each client to achieve the most flawless look. This level of precision is obtained by using
a single acupuncture needle controlled by state-of-the-art equipment created exclusively for
Micro-Art. As the needle gently vibrates on the outer layer of the skin Micro-Arts nontoxic
mineral based pigments are absorbed.  There is no recovery time and discomfort is minimal.
Micro-Art lasts up to 3 years, so as the skin ages and fashions change clients have the
ability to update their style.  Micro-Art technicians go though a rigorous full-time six-month
training and have to meet all company standards before being licensed.

Permanent make-up is a tattoo that is painful. Heavy gauge needles are used to penetrate
deep into the skin causing bleeding, bruising, scabbing, scarring and down time. Tattoo inks
can be toxic; the colors are harsh and change into orange or blue. Tattooed brows can be
removed with laser surgery or all areas can be corrected by Micro-Art’s corrective
procedure. Permanent make-up equipment can be purchased by anyone without training for
as little as $200. Most permanent make up artists take a 4-day course at best.

How long does Micro-Art last?
Micro-Art lasts on average up to 3 years. As the skin ages and fashions change, clients
have the ability to update their look.

Touch-ups can be done as often as every 6 months. However, most clients get Micro-Art
retouched once every year or two to maintain their desired look or even change the color
and shape. If Micro-Art is not maintained it will just fade away completely over time.

Do I need to schedule a consultation prior to getting Micro-Art?
A consultation is not necessary prior to an appointment.  Before Micro-Art is applied a micro
artist will design the perfect make up based on the desired style using an erasable pencil.
Once the client has approved the design then Micro-Art is applied. This enables clients to
see what the end result is going to be before Micro-Art is applied.

However if a client does want a consultation prior to an appointment one can be scheduled
and the cost is $200.

Micro-Art FAQ
About the Micro-Art procedure
STEP 2: Pigmentation
STEP 3: Touch-Up
The procedure itself takes about 20-60 minutes. For sensitive clients a topical numbing creme is available
STEP 1: Design
Eyebrows: Individual hairs are precisely layered on the skin creating a completely natural
look. The brows can be completely reshaped, darkened or thickened.

Lips: The shape of the lip can be re-designed for a youthful fuller look. The lip is first lined,
then completely shaded, for a natural appearance.

Eyeliner: A fine line is applied in between the lashes, creating a much thicker lash line and
highlighting the eyes.

Color: A Design Consultant will help choose the most natural looking color. Make-up will
then be penciled on, for your approval, before the procedure.
